In-Court Mediation Services

If your dispute has already become a lawsuit, BBB Mediation staff may offer you a chance to mediate your case at court on the day of your trial.  Our mediators are present at most of the following court sessions in downtown Modesto:

• Small Claims: in Modesto at the Small Claims/Traffic Court on Monday through Thursday
   
• Unlawful Detainers (Evictions): in downtown Modesto at the Main Court, Tuesday through Friday

Usually there is only one mediator in the courtroom, so the mediator may not be able to offer assistance in every case.  If you want to be sure to have a chance to try mediation, be sure to arrive at the courtroom on time, and tell the mediator you want to use mediation—or contact BBB Mediation Services in advance to see if we can help you settle the case before your court date.

All BBB Mediation in-court services are offered free of charge.
