In-Court Mediation

If your dispute has already become a lawsuit, Mediation staff may offer you a chance to mediate your case at court on the day of your trial.  Our mediators are present at most of the following court sessions in downtown Fresno and Clovis:

  • Small Claims: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM, Dept. 97e, Tuolomne and M Streets

  • Unlawful Detainers (Evictions): Tuesdays, 8:30 AM, Sisk Courthouse, Dept. 401, Fresno and O Streets

  • Civil Harassments (Restraining Orders): Mondays, 8:30 AM, Sisk Courthouse, Dept. 404, Frenso and O Streets
  • Family Law (Proberty Division):  Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:30 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, Sisk Courthouse, Dept. 202, Fresno and O Streets

Usually there is only one mediator in the courtroom, so the mediator may not be able to offer assistance in every case.  If you want to be sure to have a chance to try mediation, be sure to arrive at the courtroom on time, and tell the mediator you want to use mediation—or contact Mediation Services in advance to see if we can help you settle the case before your court date.

All Mediation's in-court services are offered free of charge. Except for family law mediation. See fee schedule on our home page.
