In-Court Mediation

If your dispute has already become a lawsuit, the BBB Mediation staff may offer you a chance to mediate your case at court on the day of your trial.  Our mediators are present at most of the following court sessions in downtown Fresno and Clovis:

• Small Claims: in downtown Fresno (Dept. 3 & Dept. 98-B) and Clovis
   
• Unlawful Detainers (Evictions): in downtown Fresno (Dept. 98-B)
   
• Civil Harassments (Restraining Orders): in downtown Fresno (Dept. 98-B)

Usually there is only one mediator in the courtroom, so the mediator may not be able to offer assistance in every case.  If you want to be sure to have a chance to try mediation, be sure to arrive at the courtroom on time, and tell the mediator you want to use mediation—or contact BBB Mediation Services in advance to see if we can help you settle the case before your court date.

All BBB Mediation's in-court services are offered free of charge.
