BBB Mediation Services Staff Members

Marisol Felix has been with the Better Business Bureau since March 2005 and has been serving as a mediator since June 2006. She has completed the Basic Institute in Conflict Management and Mediation with Fresno Pacific University. Marisol was one of the first mediators to offer the service of mediation with the Kern County Superior Court and is currently working in the Bakersfield, Mojave and Delano branches. She has helped the courts by resolving hundreds of cases in the areas of small claims, civil harassments and unlawful detainers.

Marisol majored in Engineering Technology at California Polytechnic University, Pomona. She is currently seeking to broaden her knowledge and edification through the acquisition of mediation skills and training offered through the BBB.

Marisol is originally from Anaheim where she graduated with honors from Savanna High School, but she has lived in Bakersfield since 2004. Marisol is an avid sports fan and has a fondness for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. She is married to Saul Felix. They are currently expecting their first child.
