Jack Hardisty, B.S., M.A., is the managing partner of South Valley Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in land use, dispute resolution, government and community relations, mediation training, and strategic planning. Jack holds a Master of Arts in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University Law School, a Master of Arts in Public Administration from California State University, Bakersfield, and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Jack worked for Kings County from 1972–1981 in several planning positions from planner to deputy planning director. In 1981 he moved to the city of Bakersfield where he served as the assistant planning director, planning director and development services director until the end of 2004.

Jack started South Valley Solutions in 2005 and is devoting much of his time to working with the Kern County Superior Court and Valley Mediation.
