BBB Mediation Services Staff Members
Domitila Guerrero, A.A., B.A., joined BBB Mediation Services in June 2004 as a bilingual court and community mediator. Domi attended California State University, Fresno where she earned a Bachelor in Arts degree in Mass Communication and Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast Production. Additionally, Domi attended Fresno City College where she obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration; an Associate of Arts degree in Spanish; and a business management certificate. Domi has also studied Rehabilitation Counseling.
Domi works out of the BBB Mediation office in Fresno. She has mediated thousands of cases in areas including, but not limited to: small claims; unlawful detainers (evictions); civil harassments; neighbor disputes; landlord-tenant disputes; and market place issues. Domi has received basic and advanced mediation training through the BBB Mediation Services and Center for Peacemaking and Conflict Studies at Fresno Pacific University.
Domi is originally from Wasco where she graduated with honors from Wasco High School. However has lived in Fresno since 1998. She is actively involved in her local church and sings in the church choir. Before joining the BBB, Domi worked for a local television station and as a counselor for women and teens. She currently serves as Secretary for the Board of the Fair Housing Council of Central California.
